Rory Gallagher dispose de nombreuses pages Facebook plus ou moins réussies.
Je vais en dresser ici une liste non exhaustive, supprimant celles qui, selon moi, n'ont pas le moindre intérêt et celles qui ne sont pas proposées en langue anglaise.
Comme pour le site Internet, à quoi bon créer une page pour la faire ressembler aux autres ?... Simple empilement de photos ?... Très peu pour moi ! J'essaye donc, dans la mesure du possible, de faire autrement !
Rory Gallagher has numerous Facebook pages, some more successful than others.
I will list them here (this list is not exhaustive), omitting those that, in my opinion, are completely irrelevant and those not available in English.
As with the website, what's the point of creating a page just to make it look like all the others?... A simple stack of photos?... Not for me! So I try, as much as possible, to do things differently!

NOTRE PREMIERE PAGE FACEBOOK SUSPENDUE /
Très mauvaise nouvelle : la page Facebook www.facebook.com/rorygallagher.fr a été suspendue le 6 septembre 2025... Au prétexte qu'elle constituait une ''usurpation d'identité'' ! Je pensais pourtant avoir rempli tous les critères pour qu'il n'y ai pas de confusion expliquant qu'elle n'était que celle d'un vieux fan... La gestion de nos actes par des robots ne fait que commencer et donne un petit aperçu de ce que sera l'avenir ! Heureusement quant à lui, le site Internet www.RoryGallagher.fr NE PEUT ÊTRE TOUCHÉ PAR CETTE CENSURE AUSSI INADMISSIBLE QU'INJUSTIFIÉE.
Des robots qui circulent sur les pages Facebook ont donc décidé arbitrairement de bloquer la page sans aucune intervention humaine j'imagine car il n'y avait pas la moindre confusion possible, ce site n'était qu'un hommage à Rory Gallagher... Sur aucun des posts publiés depuis près d'un an on peut me taxer de m'être substituer à l'artiste. Curieusement, cette page ''groupe'' ne subie pas (pour le moment ?) cette même censure inadmissible et injuste.
Je vous invite donc amis visiteurs à consulter régulièrement mon site Internet sur lequel, heureusement, ce type de blocage ne peut intervenir.

OUR FIRST FACEBOOK PAGE SUSPENDED!!!
Very bad news: the Facebook page www.facebook.com/rorygallagher.fr was suspended on September 6, 2025... On the grounds that it constituted "identity theft"! I thought I had met all the criteria to avoid confusion about it being just that of an old fan... Robots managing our actions is just beginning and gives a small glimpse of what the future will be like. Fortunately, the website www.RoryGallagher.fr CANNOT BE AFFECTED BY THIS CENSORSHIP, WHICH IS AS UNACCEPTABLE AS IT IS UNJUSTIFIED
It seems that I no longer have control over my own FB page... ;-( https://www.facebook.com/rorygallagher.fr was blocked on September 6th with the reason: ''identity theft''. Robots that circulate on Facebook pages therefore arbitrarily decided to block the page without any human intervention I imagine because there was not the slightest possible confusion, this site was only a tribute to Rory Gallagher... On none of the posts published for almost a year can I be accused of having substituted myself for the artist. Curiously, the ''group page Rory's Friends'' is not subject (for the moment?) to this same unacceptable and unfair censorship. I therefore invite you, my friends, visitors, to regularly consult my website on which, fortunately, this type of censorship cannot occur.

Leur précédente page THE RORY GALLAGHER GROUP ayant été hacquée, les administrateurs la relance sous cette nouvelle appellation 4.600 followers (en avril 2026).
Alors, bien sur, cette page ne propose que des photos et vidéos de notre héros mais, fort bien choisies !

Klaus Erlinghagen is a longtime Rory's fan. He created a great Facebook page full of photos and videos. Here is a short interview from Klaus :
When did you became a fan of Rory?
I became a Rory fan, when I got Taste - On the boards and found out that Rory just split the band. I was very disappointed and did not bought his first Solo-LP. But the reviews of Deuce were great, and so I decided to buy the album. Just after listening I went back to the record shop and bought his first LP. What albums!!! Then Live in Europe and the rest is history.
When and where did you see him live on stage ?
My first concert was 1975 in Dusseldorf, Germany, because the '73 concert in Dusseldorf was cancelled. In 1977 I saw maybe the best concert in Essen. The Rockpalast is still one of his best concerts he ever did in my opinion. In 1978 I met Rory the first time in Essen, Germany. The reason was an interview for the Deuce magazine from Switzerland. At the end of the year I met him again while he was playing in Dublin over Christmas and New Year. In 1979 I drove to Stommeln near Cologne, where he recorded Jinx and spent a whole afternoon and evening with Rory. Great memories!!! My last concert was in Cologne, E-Werk, Germany in 1994. At that time Rory was very ill.
What are your best album and song?
My Best-Of list: Hard to say, because I love really a lot of albums and songs. I would say "Walk on hot coals" and Irish Tour '74 is my absolute favorite song and album.
